Want to work in a Nursery, Children Centre, Day Care, Crèche or School?
You will need to be:
- Experienced with checkable references
- Able to work in the UK
- In possession of a police clearance and/or willing to have one undertaken.
- Confident in spoken and written English
- Demonstrate you have a minimum of one year’s recent childcare experience or that you hold a childcare qualification.

Emergency Childcare Staff
Riverside Cares operates an early morning emergency desk to cover unexpected staff shortages. We can supply in all London postal districts.
The service operates from 7.30 am Monday to Friday. All temporary workers sent out to assignments will have current police clearances, been referenced and undergone a full interview.
School Support Staff
Riverside can provide temporary and permanent non teaching staff that includes:
- Teaching Assistants
- Learning Support Assistants
- Midday Supervisors

To work as a TA or LSA you will need >>
- Experience with school aged children
- Ideally some experience with SENs children
- Ideally a L2 or L3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools or similar.
- Good written and spoken English
- To undertake a Disclosure and Barring Check
To work as a midday Supervisor you will need >>
- Some experience with school aged children either from employment or voluntary work
- Ability to manage a class during lunchtime
- To undertake a Disclosure and Barring Check
- Good spoken English
To work as office admin staff you will need >>
- To be computer literate
- Have working knowledge of programmes such as Microsoft office and excel
- Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good telephone manner
- Experience of working in an office
- Good written and spoken English
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Ideally have knowledge of SIMS
To work as Business Manager you will need >>
- Excellent computer skills
- Finance and accounting skills
- Experience of managing and monitoring budgets

Yes provided that you have prior childcare experience or hold a suitable childcare qualification
Will you call me early in the mornings for work?
Yes we offer all our clients an ‘Emergency on the day’ service, but you can chose to opt out of on the day work
Can I choose when I want to work?
Yes working with us as a temp allows you flexibility and we are led by your working pattern
Can I register just for a permanent job?
Yes at interview we talk through your requirements whether it be odd day temping or a full time permanent post
