We offer this 1 hour course which can be taught by zoom or in person:
EMERGENCY FIRST AID FOR BURNS PREVENTION, IMMEDIATE TREATMENT, APPLYING DRESSINGS AND AFTERCARE (INFANTS, CHILDREN AND ADULTS)
We offer DBS checks – with the consent of the named individual.
Checking that the person you are going to leave your child with is suitable to work with children must be an essential element of your recruitment process. The Disclosure and Barring Check helps employers make safer recruitment decisions.
We are a dedicated team who are here to support you during the application process, by phone or email. Riverside Cares has more than 32 years of experience in Early Years supply, training and education. We are very familiar with the DBS process.
If you would like a check carried out for your personal use we can carry out a check on your behalf. Nannies, babysitters, applying for an Ofsted Registration and carers for the elderly and those who would like to give peace of mind to employers and potential employers can apply in their own right with Riverside Cares. You will also need to have evidence that they are permitted to work in the UK in line with government guidelines.
Riverside Cares will confirm to you when the Disclosure and Barring Certificate has been issued to your Nanny, who will then be in a position to show you the certificate. Please note: To process a DBS check and references we will require your name and contact details and those of your Nanny and confirmation of your Nanny’s permission to carry out the check, as we will not be able to carry out the check without the consent of the person being checked. The person will also need to have evidence that they are permitted to work in the UK.
Riverside Training Company offers an eLearning session called Sepsis in Children. It is an online course where you will learn what sepsis is, how to recognise it and how to try to prevent a child from becoming septic.
This course can be accessed via your computer, laptop, tablet or smart-phone
