Paskha Russian Easter Cake
A delicious symbolic Orthodox Christian Easter cake, Set on a festive table decorated with painted eggs, twigs and spring flowers. Serve it with poached fruit.
There are a few ways to make the cake.
Mix all the ingredients together, the cottage cheese/curd cheese/cooking cream chees and flavourings and shape into the traditional paskha shape
Blend all the ingredients and bake in the oven
Cook in the oven using a steam method
Think traditional cheesecake – oven baked and refrigerator style are both correct and delicious or a more custardy dish … they are all authentic and correct
